Clinical Trial Updates: What Do the Data Say About the Management of Iron Overload?
Join Dr. Maria D. Cappellini as she moderates an expert panel discussing exciting new data and key insights that emerged from the 14th Congress of the European Haematology Association on the topic of iron overload attributable to iron overload diseases and chronic transfusion. Target Audience
This activity is designed for haematologists, medical oncologists, haematology-oncology specialists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the screening, evaluation, treatment, and management of adults and children with iron overload, resulting from the spectrum of chronic iron overload diseases.

Learning Objectives
After participating in this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Utilize an understanding of recent efficacy and safety clinical trial data on the use of iron chelation therapy to develop treatment strategies that will reduce the risk of clinical sequelae in patients with thalassaemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, sickle cell disease, and rare anaemias.
